General Directions to the Hotel
From Highways A4 (Milan-West/Trieste-East), A1 (Bologna-South), A27 (Cortina-North)
Take the exit for Venezia and follow the state road signs going to Venezia. Go
across the Liberty Bridge (approximately 4 km long), and make a right turn at
the traffic lights, continuing down the ramp and turn right at the roundabout.
Continue going past the Tronchetto Island parking facilities to the Lido Car
Ferry Service Dock. When you arrive at the island of Lido, turn right into
Riviera S. Nicolò and follow it into Riviera S.M. Elisabetta and P.zle S.M.
Elisabetta. Make a left into Gran Viale and run its full length. Turn right into
Lungomare Marconi and keep going to Hotel des Bains at n°17.
From Marco Polo International Airport
By private transfer: available 24 hours by advance booking (minimum 24 hours)
with hotel Concierge. It is possible to have a personal greeting by hostess
outside luggage claim area, porter assistance, private transfer to airport boat
pier, pre-arranged private water taxi to hotel (without hostess). Travel time to
the island is approx. 50 minutes. Transfer charged to guest hotel bill. The
hotel requires flight details.
By water taxi: Available 24 hours. Check in at the Starwood Desk in the arrival
hall, open 9 am-5:30 pm for assistance. When the Starwood Desk is closed,
contact the Taxi Desk "Consorzio Venezia Motoscafi" for assistance. Payment
accepted in Cash only.
By public transport: The Alilaguna boat company offers a regular service from
the airport boat pier (700m away) to Lido SM Elisabetta. Travel time is approx.
90 minutes. Tickets paid in cash only, are available at the Alilaguna desk in
the airport arrivals hall.
From Santa Lucia Train Station
By private transfer: available 24 hours by reservation in advance (minimum 24
hours) with hotel concierge. There will be a greeting Hostess at the arrival
platform, arrange porter assistance and guests are taken to a pre-arranged
private water taxi, which is waiting to take them to the Hotel. Travel time is
around 50 minutes. Transfer will be charged to guest hotel bill. Complete train
details required.
By water taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours from the waterfront outside the
railway station. Cash only accepted.
By public transport: waterbuses (vaporettos), n°1/n°51 pass regularly from the
waterfront outside the railway station to vaporetto stop Lido SM Elisabetta. The
hotel des Bains, Venice Lido Resort is a quick taxi ride from the vaporetto
stop. Cash only accepted.
From Piazzale Roma
By water taxi: available 24 hours from the waterfront at Piazzale Roma. Cash
payment only.
By public transport: waterbuses (vaporettos), n°1/n°51 are available regularly
from the waterfront at Piazzale Roma to vaporetto stop Lido SM Elisabetta. The
Hotel des Bains is quick taxi ride from the vaporetto stop. Cash payment
accepted only.
From Cruise Ship Harbor
By private transfer: available 24 hours only through prior reservation at least
24 hours in advance with hotel's concierge desk. Hostess will greet guests where
the ship berths, arrange a porter service and accompany guests to a pre-arranged
private water taxi, which will take them to the hotel. Travel time is just about
40 minutes and will be charged to hotel bill. Complete cruise ship arrival
information details is necessary.
By water taxi: available 24 hours from the waterfront where the ship berths.
